AAC's 12 Steps to Range Safety

  1. Listen to your Range Coach at all times, they know more than you, except maybe Jeff, he’s pretty dumb.
  2. Don't wear open toed shoes, they aren't allowed, this isn't the place to trim your toenails.
  3. We shouldn't really have to say this but don't grab an axe by the blade, use the handle.
  4. Don't be impaired in any way, we will politely, yet firmly ask you to leave.
  5. Don't throw any axes downrange when there is anyone down there.
  6. Axes are to only be thrown down range, do not throw anywhere else.
  7. Notify any staff member if there are any defects in the range or axes, we want you to have a good and safe time.
  8. Ask questions if you are unsure of something, we are here to help.
  9. Be conscious, cautious, and courteous at all times; if not, we will politely, yet firmly ask you to leave. Be aware of your surroundings.
  10. Fun for ages 14 and up, minors must have a parent/guardian sign their waiver.
  11. Don't axe murder anyone, its illegal and frowned upon.
  12. Any personal axes must be inspected prior to being used.
